Time to time firing between India and Bangladesh is going on 04,096.70 kilometres India-Bangladesh international border areas to check the flow of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, Islamic fundamentalists activities, insurgency and smuggling activities into India that was provoked by Bangladesh.
Between April 28th April to may 03rd May, 2004, a high level committee of Indian delegates went to Bangladesh and met the officials to immediate solution of the illegal infiltration, smuggling, Islamic religious fundamental activities and to stop using the soil of Bangladesh for the activities of the Al-Qaida, Pakistanis intelligence department n Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) as well as Northeast Indian insurgents groups against India.
