Park Street is one of the posh areas in the heart of Kolkata. It has a westernised look with lots of renowned eateries, restaurants, bars and hotels. The discotheques at The Park are the most happening places during weekends. However during the Christmas and New Years eve the place becomes overcrowded with middle-class bengalee folk flocking to the place to enjoy the western ambience. Two other landmarks of much renown are: Oxford Book Store for book lovers and Music World for music lovers. |
